A Day at Brighton
Last Saturday I enjoyed a lovely British summer day down at Brighton beach. This funky town on the southern coast of England is comprised of narrow shopping alleys (the Lanes), a commercialized pier with carnival rides and cotton candy, eccentric art galleries and a rocky beach filled with pebbles and white skinned Brits soaking in the rays. I walked around the beach for an hour or two, poked my head in the galleries looking for artwork and fell asleep in a chair on the pier. It was nice to get out in the sunshine and enjoy the warm weather. Unfortunately this Saturday we are back to grey clouds and sprinkling rain. Enjoy the photos!
